Netball is one of the fastest growing spectator sports in Australia, with millions of fans and players across the country. Whether you take your kids play on Saturday afternoon at the local park or go to see a primetime game, netball is no doubt huge.

My wife loves netball, so when she takes us to a game I’m always secretly excited because I’ve had a cheeky punt on it before we leave!

But, did you know that you can also bet on netball matches and tournaments online? You’ll get great odds on netball so whether you are a beginner or a seasoned punter, my tips should help you pick a winner.

What odds to look for

If you’re thinking about having a bet on the netball, first and foremost you should always compare the odds offered by different bookies.

You should always look for odds that give you the best value for your money, depending on your risk appetite and betting strategy. You may have a gut feeling that the Melbourne Vixens will win, you might want to bet on them with low odds and a high stake. But, on the other hand if you think they’re unlikely to win, but you want to take a chance, you might want to bet on them with high odds and a low stake.
